The Model Scout, in conjunction with the Casting Workbook, is used daily by professional agents and photographers in the industry and the same format is used throughout all sites allowing agents and photographers to search for new models with ease and speed.

Model Workbook

From your private Workbook you can log in to review your materials, update and print your comp or z card, post messages, ePitch your comp card and much more.

Your Portfolio contains:

1. Your thumbnail photos for quick searches, your headshots (approx 3 x 5) with contact details, measurements and specs and your jumbo photos, (approx 8 x10). You can provide us with additional photos (up to 16 per portfolio) and photographers and casting professionals can view your range of photos from here. Only one photo comes up in initial searches and you or your agent can control the "default" photo from the Edit menu at any time.

2. Comp or Z Cards can be instantly created and printed right from your Workbook.

3. Runway video reels can also be uploaded to your portfolio for distribution. Savings in duplication and courier costs are dramatic when using ePitch for distribution.

4. Special Skills are also a part of your profile and can be searched by your agent when seeking project candidates.

Allowing any Casting Workbook member to courier "same day" packages using their online materials for immediate delivery in key cities, ePackage will revolutionize workflow.

With a few mouse clicks, a client in any city can order local courier delivery, in key cities, of any electronic materials stored on Casting Workbook. This allows, for example, an agent in Toronto to send a clients headshot and resume and DVD copy of their demo reel to a Casting Direct in Los Angeles in less than 3 hours at a rate less than a traditional courier.

Now Appearing - (Patent Pending)

NOW APPEARING is a "TV guide" designed for virtually every type of venue that offers casting professionals a way to promote or track an actor or model’s career. This unique software is tied into Casting Workbook’s breakdown service allowing this guide to display credits and certain show details for viewers.

Agents and Casting pros can now put actors on “watch lists” for instant email and SMS notification whenever they appear in any venue type.

Actors and their agents can now enter stage, theatrical and video releases, magazine covers, showcases, television shows, billboards, personal appearances, etc. Represented talent and their agents can post their appearances and leave tickets at the “willcall booth” for casting and production executives. Agents receive an automatic “roster appearances” list that tells them when and where their actors are appearing. Non represented actors can post appearances and “show off” their talent to prospective agents and casting pros alike.

Agent Messaging

Send messages to agents for possible placement from our built-in agency list if you are a freelance model or send messages to one or more of your agents. Open your recipient lists after a message has been sent to see whether it has been read.

SMS Technology

As more and more Models move to digital cell phones, pagers and PDA's, the opportunity for your agent to instantly broadcast their entire model roster with booking and job notices becomes a reality. You can currently log into the Casting Workbook with your wireless PDA or digital cell phone.

ePitch - (Patent Pending)

ePitch is a fast, effective and secure way for you or your agent to move your electronic portfolio worldwide to photographers and casting professionals on or off the Casting Workbook. It is simple and does not require plug-ins or proprietary software other than a standard web browser. Your default thumbnail photo is embedded into a letter format with your agent's logo and linked to your entire portfolio including your resume, photos and video reel where provided.

The old tedious and expensive methods have been eliminated. There is no duplication of photos, video reels or letterhead. There are no manila envelopes or stamps and best of all, you or your agent knows when your package has arrived and whether it has been opened.
